2. Overview

We process personal data only as far as necessary to run this website, answer your enquiries or perform contracts. The legal bases are the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in particular Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract and pre-contractual steps) and (f) (legitimate interest).

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and delivered via its network. When you visit, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and the defence against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, a data processing agreement with standard contractual clauses is in place.

4. Audience measurement with Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how our website is used, such as which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. The service does not set cookies, does not use local storage and does not build profiles of individual visitors. It processes aggregated data such as page views, referrer, browser type and country. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing the website to meet visitors' needs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Contacting us

If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (name, company, email address, message) to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. For email we use Google Workspace by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, under a data processing agreement. We delete your enquiry once it has been fully handled, unless statutory retention periods apply.

5a. Booking via Google Calendar

On our contact page you can book an appointment through a Google Calendar booking page (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The booking calendar only loads after you click “Load calendar” or open it in a new tab. Data such as your IP address is then transmitted to Google. When you book, we process your name, email address, the chosen slot and any optional details to hold the call. The legal bases are your consent by actively loading the calendar (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We delete appointment data once it is no longer needed to prepare or carry out an engagement.

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when you visit the website.

7. Storage in your browser

When you switch the website language, we store your choice (German or English) in your browser's local storage so that the website appears in your language on your next visit. This information does not leave your device. Storing it is necessary for the service you requested. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

8. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact hallo@nexvio.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence or with the authority responsible for us: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

10. Data security

This website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS (TLS).

11. Changes

We update this privacy policy when our website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
